South Jersey Players, a local touring theater company, returns to Aroma Restaurant (5206 Atlantic Ave. Ventnor, NJ 08406) to present a fourth season of Dinner Theater. Dates for the event include Tuesday evenings: 3/18, 3/25, 4/1, and 4/8 at 5:30 pm. Patrons will enjoy a three-course plated dinner with a Ceasar Salad, Chicken Parmigiano or Pasta Primavera and a delicious Pannacotta dessert. This year, Aroma will provide a lavish cash bar.
Classical guitarist, Reid Alburger, will provide mellow music during the dinner hour. Scott Friedman, local comedian and realtor, will host the event.
Four original one-acts, What Did Delaware, by Edward Shakespeare, Brothers Forever! by Jim O’Hara, Cheap Therapy by Edward Shakespeare and A Team of One, by Sam Sardina follow the meal. Local musician, Joey McGowan, will provide show sound and a song set. The entertainment segment runs approximately 75 minutes.
Marlene May, president of South Jersey Players, is thrilled to produce the event, with Aroma’s owner, Tony Hoda.
Actors include Edward Shakespeare, Shirlee Dibacco, Alfred Margerum, Joe Chialastri, Shirley Belitsky, Jared Migden, Jim O’Hara, Jamie Weinberg, Judy Parrish, Scott Higbee and Sam Sardina. Chikita Wallace will stage manage with assistant, Jack Parrish. Graphics and print work are provided by Peggy Spencer.
