SJP’s Dinner Theater at Aroma cast.
Visionary, Marlene May, President of South Jersey Players, Inc. – a non-profit community theater, has been yearning to present dinner theater in Ventnor, NJ for some time.
SJP, Inc. was founded in 2017 and incorporated in 2020 with the mission of promoting local playwrights featuring local actors in short plays. Most recently, SJP presented Plays in the Park at the new Ventnor Memory Park and Park Plays at the Margate City Public Library’s ‘Under the Tent’ series.
Margate City Public Library presents South Jersey Players, Inc.’s PARK PLAYS. The five short one-acts, and five one-minute teasers, will be performed under the tent, in the Russell C. Roney Library Park – 8100 Atlantic Avenue, Margate, NJ 08402.
South Jersey Players, Inc will be producing PLAYS IN THE PARK at the new Ventnor Memory Park on Saturday, June 26th at 3:00 pm & 5:30 pm and Sunday, June 27th at 3:00 pm. The outdoor event includes seven short plays by local playwrights, Jeff Dunne, Phyliss Merion Shanken, Jim O’Hara, Sondra Mandel, Edward Shakespeare and Tom Chin. Directors include:Marlene May, Tish Becker, Edward Shakespeare and John Alvarez. PLAYS IN THE PARK will be the first event in Ventnor Memory Park located at 5000 Ventnor Avenue at Nashville.
